Grove Condos, Toronto, Ontario
Proposed right in the heart of the burgeoning neighbourhood of Leslieville, a new mid-rise mass-timber condo rises. With limited site area, the public realm landscape design highlights the heritage aspect of the site.

Steeped in history, the area known as Lot 11 at the intersection of Kingston Road (now Queen Street East) and Concession Road 1 was first settled by George Leslie. With his establishment of the Toronto Nurseries of George Leslie and Sons in the 1850s, the area was soon known as Leslieville. Limited by only the public realm, the landscape design paid homage the site's historical context by proposed inscriptions in the paving and materiality.
