Bahrain Cardiac Hospital, Awali, Kingdom of Bahrain |
| Back |
In the center of the Kingdom of Bahrain sits the small town of Awali. Located next to an existing hospital, the Ministry of Works and Housing intended on developing a state-of-the-art Cardiac Center for the royal family and the public. The rolling hills of Awali in the desert landscape posed unique challenges. Our response was a well coordinated site and architecture design that weaves through the different existing site conditions and finding a balance between modern western architecture and local culture.
