​They say travel feeds the soul. As a designer travel is education, a source of inspiration, an opportunity to refuel. Out there in the real world is where life happens, it's where design happens.

Whether it's a work related trip or not, when I'm on-location, I'm on site visit mode - my design brain is turned on, and I'm absorbing, reviewing and analyzing everything I see. My preferred method of recording this analysis is through my camera lens - the subject of the photo, the crop, the composition - each photo is saying something.
